Thank you to everyone who applied to join the MayzyArt Design Team!!  I seriously had SUCH a hard time making a decision.  Everyone is so talented!

Prom Fun

Hey Everybody!

Whoops!  In the fun of the Doctor and the new MayzyArt Challenge, I forgot to do a Peek Game for the latest shop offerings!  Oh well, I won't keep you waiting but don't worry- the new Peek Game is at the end of this post!

Quick note first about the Design Team Applications.  I should have mentioned this yesterday, but applications will be accepted through Saturday, January 12th.  The new DT members will be notified and an announcement will be made on Sunday, January 13th.  The first Challenge that DT members will be responsible to participate in will be for February 2nd.

MayzyArt Challenges Are Back!

Hey Everybody!

With the new year, we are starting up MayzyArt Challenges again!  As before, they will run every second Saturday and winners will be announced the Friday prior.  Full rules are listed at the bottom of this post.  

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:

I'm sad to say that a couple of members of the Design Team will not be with us any longer.  Shelby has had to move on and another will be leaving shortly.  This creates a great opportunity for YOU though, as I will be accepting applications for TWO new Design Team members!  If you would like to be considered for the MayzyArt Design Team, just send an email to mayzygreen@yahoo.com with the subject line 'DESIGN TEAM APPLICATION'.  Don't bother putting much in that email as I will send you the official application requirements in a reply.

Rules Reminder:

-The MayzyArt Challenge is open to anyone!  All you have to do is create paper craft project that matches the challenge's theme.  It does not have to use a MayzyArt stamp.  

- In order to enter, post a link to your blog post featuring the project.  Please be sure that you list on that post that you wish to enter the project into the MayzyArt Challenge.

- There will be two winners of the MayzyArt Challenge!  The first winner will be drawn at random from all entrants.  That winner will receive 3 MayzyArt stamps of their choice.  The second winner will be chosen only from those entrants that used a MayzyArt stamp in their project.  It will be selected specifically by Mayzy and will be featured for the following two weeks on this blog.  That winner will also receive 5 MayzyArt stamps of their choice!

- Entries must be received by Thursday, January 17th.  The winner will be announced on January 18th.

IF YOU EMAIL ME YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING:

You will create a paper craft project using a MayzyArt stamp that will be sent to Mayzy by Friday January 4th to be featured on the January 5th Challenge post.  You will be entitled to select one free MayzyArt stamp of your choice to use in this project and the theme is Anything Goes.

This is a one time Guest spot, not a permanent place on the MayzyArt Design Team.

The Shop

• How will I receive my stamps?
• As soon as payment has been confirmed for your order, you should receive an email with a link to immediately download your stamp(s).  You will be able to download this stamp up to three times, though you may save it to your computer and use it indefinitely.  This download link should never expire.
• How do I enter a discount code?
• Click here for a tutorial.
• Will you ever make a stamp with a picture of _____________?
• I am open to suggestions for new stamps!  If you have a stamp idea, please make a post here.  Please note that I cannot guarantee that all stamps will be created or that you will see your stamp soon after making your suggestion.  I usually have a mental list about four miles long of stamps that I would like to make, so it may take some time.  :o)
• I would like a custom stamp with an image of my daughter/dog/etc.  Do you do that?
• I am open to discussing the option of a personalized stamp utilizing the image of your choice.  Pricing would start at $30 for a single image (one person, animal, etc) with $10 for additional images.  This would be a personal stamp that would belong only to you and would never be offered in my shop.  If you would like to suggest a general stamp that would be offered in the shop, please see the preceding question.  If you would like to discuss the possibility of ordering a personal stamp, please contact me at mayzyart@gmail.com.  Please be sure to put in the subject line "PERSONAL STAMP ORDER" so that I won't accidentally delete it!
• IMPORTANT: Contacting me about a personal stamp order does not guarantee that I will accept the commission!  I know my limitations as an artist and if I do not feel that I would be able to provide you a quality product, I will regretfully decline.  Additionally, please be aware that I reserve the right to refuse a commission that would be contrary to my values (ie nudity, blatant sexuality, or anything that condones hate or disrespect for another living being).

• What is the MayzyArt Challenge?
• The MayzyArt Challenge is a fun stamp challenge that runs every two weeks on Saturday.  Winners are announced the preceding Friday.  You can enter any papercraft project that you've created, provided it fits the theme for the week,  It doesn't need to use a MayzyArt stamp, though only a project using a MayzyArt stamp can be selected for the grand prize. 
• There are two ways to win the MayzyArt Challenge.  The first prize winner is selected at random from all participants and will receive three MayzyArt stamps of their choice.  The grand prize winner is personally selected by Mayzy and will receive five MayzyArt stamps of their choice, as well as being featured for the next two weeks!
• How can I join the MayzyArt Design Team?
• At this time, the MayzyArt Design Team is not looking for new members.  If we have a vacancy, an announcement will be made on the MayzyArt blog with instructions to apply.  The best way to join is to keep checking back at the MayzyArt blog!
