MayzyArt Challenge #013

Hey Everybody!

A day late, but I'm still very excited about the new challenge today!  Our theme is...

Animal Prints!

This time around, we're going to try something new.  The challenge itself will be ANYTHING GOES!  That's right, show us whatever you're working on!  However, bonus points are awarded for using the inspirational theme of the week, which will be taken into account when awarding the GRAND prize.  (First prize will be drawn at random, per usual, so don't hesitate to share non-animally creations!)

Rules Reminder:

-The MayzyArt Challenge is open to anyone!  Entries can by Anything Goes, but extra points are awarded for using the inspirational theme.  It does not have to use a MayzyArt stamp. 

-You may enter as many times as you would like, but please only enter with new cards created and posted during the contest time frame. 

- In order to enter, post a link to your blog post featuring the project.  Please be sure that you list on that post that you wish to enter the project into the MayzyArt Challenge.

- There will be two winners of the MayzyArt Challenge!  The first winner will be drawn at random from all entrants.  That winner will receive 3 MayzyArt stamps of their choice.  The second winner will be chosen only from those entrants that used a MayzyArt stamp in their project.  It will be selected specifically by Mayzy and will be featured for the following two weeks on this blog.  That winner will also receive 5 MayzyArt stamps of their choice!

- Entries must be received by Thursday, March 28th.  The winner will be announced on March 29th.

Just Another Manic Monday...

Hey guys and gals!

I have been looking forward to this week like you can't believe.  This Thursday I'm off on a little vacation!  Just some relaxation and a chance to catch up on my reading, but it should be just lovely.  (Don't worry- it won't interfere with the delivery of your stamps!)

Also, I will be announcing the first MayzyArt Challenge this Saturday!  I'm so excited and I know my DT is, too!  I hope you'll all be participating!

First off today I have a pretty get well card from Maggie's Cat House.  I like how it looks just a little bit washed out, just like poor Xandra!  I know I'd feel better getting a card like this, if I were feeling icky!

Because we can never get enough of the lovely Xandra, next there's a pretty card from Amy over at Paper Craft Planet.  You can't go wrong with sparkly, right?

Lastly, a really fun card from Copicaddicted.  Isn't the bit of flowers and feathers a great touch?  And such a perfect sentiment for Molly and BooBoo!

Hey Kids,

No new stamps today, I'm afraid.  :(  I've got a new three-pack in the works, but I'm afraid that after all of my running around today (Saturdays are just about my only days to actually get errands done), I've ended up with a splitting headache.  The temperature's getting up there today (almost to the nineties) and I didn't drink enough water. My own fault, really.

But I do have another fabulous card from Jo!

Cafe Digi is open for business!

I'm rather proud of my drawing efforts today, though it came at the cost of my neck.  I'm suffering from a serious case of 'artist's neck' and I may have to take tomorrow off to let my poor spine recover.  ...I SHOULD, but I probably won't.

I tried to go in a slightly different direction with the stamps that I posted today.  They're less 'chibi' than the majority of my other stamps.  I am extraordinarily curious how they will go over. What do you think?  I sincerely appreciate your constructive criticism.  Be brutal, if you need.
