Hey Everybody!

Today in the shop we have the Hiker!  Congrats to Laura, who was the first to correctly guess her in the Peek Game.

Funny story about this stamp... After I drew her I sat back and looked at her and thought to myself, "Huh... she looks kind of like Rose Tyler."  And so my Doctor Who freebie was inspired!

Tomorrow is Friday and that means another freebie!  Can anyone guess who this is?  I'll be very impressed if you do!

Crafter of the Week - Darlene!

Continuing with another of the MayzyArt Design Team members, this week's featured Crafter is...

Darlene

Darlene is from Ayr, Ontario Canada.  She has been married for ten years and currently stays home with her daughters, Abigail (9) and Hailey (8), and her Mal-Shi puppy, Puddles (can I get a round of 'Aww'?).  She is also a Certified Youth and Child Counselor!

You may also know Darlene as 'Minnie' on account of her unique, animated voice. It's so distinctive that she was once recognized by her grade five teacher in Walmart- when she was 40 years old!  In addition to paper craft, Darlene runs half-marathons and attends Precept Bible Study.  Her Bible is her most prized possession.  

Darlene has been crafting for about 6 years now and is wild about Copic coloring!  She says that MayzyArt stamps are, "All so adorable and so much fun to color!"

It's been a long time coming...

I have had a Yahoo! email account since I was fifteen years old.  A full half of my life!  But I've had all I can take and I can't take no more.  Due to ongoing and escalating issues with Yahoo! I will be moving to a new email address.  It will likely take me a while to find and update all the places where my email address is listed so please bear with me (and let me know if you see it listed wrong somewhere).

Prom Fun

Hey Everybody!

Whoops!  In the fun of the Doctor and the new MayzyArt Challenge, I forgot to do a Peek Game for the latest shop offerings!  Oh well, I won't keep you waiting but don't worry- the new Peek Game is at the end of this post!

Quick note first about the Design Team Applications.  I should have mentioned this yesterday, but applications will be accepted through Saturday, January 12th.  The new DT members will be notified and an announcement will be made on Sunday, January 13th.  The first Challenge that DT members will be responsible to participate in will be for February 2nd.

On to the new stamps!  I'm rounding out the prom theme here with, who else?
